It's not really sappy, if the trailer is anything to go by. Not some kind of stat-raising sim where you work to make money and increase your skills. The game is a more complex version of "choose-your-ending" novels. "Otome game" is more visual novel than dating sim, but with the focus on romancing/wooing people. The other one is maybe Buquet?Įh, let's put this in perspective. At least they didn't go out of the way to make her look super-bitchy-awful. I was kinda under the impression that Meg and Christine has contrasting hair colour on purpose to show some kind of juxtaposition between the two. But this Philippe/Philip is hot and sparkly and I don't think the fangirls would care unless they're major canon-stickler hardcore "phans". I've seen Philippe/Christine pairings over the webs, so this is not a big OMGLOLWHUTWTFBBQ kind of thing, but still rather iffy to me. Comte Philippe de Chagny, Raoul's older brother. Still, I guess they went for a fusion of book and stage because book-Raoul is supposed to have dark hair. I usually have something against light-haired anime guys and I only have light-haired OCs because I forced myself to make them for the sake of variety. And as pretty boy as he is, I actually don't mind him looking like this. Not so excited about this particular one. That's my Phantom OTP forever and nothing's gonna make me change my mind ever, but yeah. I don't like Lelouch!!! I think for the first time in all my POTO shipping history, I'm hesitant to go all happy for E/C (that is, the Phantom and Christine as a couple).

Story looks like it's supposed to be book-based, because Daroga is around and the opera house is obviously Palais Garnier instead of some random theatre building. Maybe the Phantom is a demon, or the managers are evil magicians and the Phantom is their escaped familiar/magical creature/slave, or there's a secret conspiracy to overthrow the king of France or whatever *flails* Knowing what the Japanese usually does to these kind of thing, there's probably some kind of weird thingamajick going on along the story. I can't read a single thing on that site and I cannot Google translate it because the text are FREAKING IMAGES.
